Chinese New Year

Tanami is my new friend who was kind enough to invite me to her Chinese New Year celebration! We had the most delicious food, and we made sparkly tigers because this is the year of the Tiger! I got to learn a ton about her region (the Szechwan region).
I contributed to the meal by making some 'non traditional moon pies' with sweet potato outsides and sweet red bean paste inside. They were so gorgeous, and pretty tasty.

But the meal was amazing! They cooked a whole fish, head and scales and all, and they had chicken heart. Which I tried!

It was a very fun night with great company and tasty food!
