The town of Kiruna, which is literally getting relocated so that mining can continue beneath the city, was a charming and small snowy town. It was beautiful, and definitely covered in snow!
They had ice sculptures and ice slides right in the middle of town!
We also went to visit some reindeer!
And a trip to the Sami museum, which is the name for the Native People of Sweden. It was an outdoor museum, so we were desperately trying to stay warm!
And it wouldn't be a visit to an old town without a church and a stop in the local coffee shop. Also, Sweden is known for small yellow and red houses, and the icon is real for a reason! All of the houses were either red, yellow, or white, without fail.
