Northern Lights Extravaganza!

We took a 16 hour train north to the city of Kiruna. We got so lucky, and we saw the northern lights over the whole sky on an incredibly clear and cold night.

Stockholm Train

This is us on the train! We have 2 Swedes, 1 German, 1 Chinese, 1 Columnbian, and 1 American! We all 6 slept in this space, the seat bottom is one bed, the seat back flips up to be a second bed, and the 3rd bed is already set up above us. This configuration is mirrored on the other side of the compartment. It was 16 hours from Stockholm! But it was pretty fun, we got to see the lights from the train and listed to music and chatted!

Kiruna!

We explored the city and got to our Airbnb the first night. We also rented cars and drove out to Abisko National Park, where we saw lovely northern lights. Our second night we went dog/sledding! It was so cool!
