I went back to the city of Uppsala to help Camillla out with a day of food-truck life at a winter market! We made some delicious outdoor coffee, and Swedish pancake type things over a blazin' fire outside! It was chilly, but Christmas time was in the air and the festivities were hoppin'.

I got to try my hand at cooking over an open flame as well, but I wasn't quite as good as those two ;) It was great fun, and Oskar was a perfect angel and slept for nearly the whole thing.

Afterwards, the city was putting on a special "Lights Festival" with half a dozen artistic lighting displays across the downtown area. We walked through the gorgeous old city, which has been around since about 1000 C.E. Below are some pictures of the iconic buildings and light displays

It was a lovely weekend with friends and tons of coffee!

Camilla's food-truck company is called UteFikat (outdoor Fika, which means like an outdoor coffee and cake break). You can check out her Instagram @utefikat
